Talking Drums on KISUA
I'm Feeling like a prodigal daughter of some sorts these days.

I feel blessed to have received such a warm and loving welcome in Nigeria. Straddling London and Lagos has been really good for my thighs! I'm getting to hear more music and folk stories, see more art, meet more creatives, drink more cocktails, meditate and really just do things that I feel in my heart, rather than just choosing the least frightening options.

And, this 'Yes' pact I made with myself at the beginning of the year seems to be paying off. Everyone who knows me knows that I love to play dress-up.

When Helen Jennings invited me to do a shoot with Kisua I jumped at the chance. Our schedules didn't allow us to meet in London so we did the shoot in...you guessed it...Lagos.

I hope you enjoy the piece and the lovely photographs by Lakin Ogunbanwo.
