Sounds of Us UK – Album Launch Highlights at Ladbroke Hall Supported by PRS Foundation and in collaboration with Journey Through the Senses.

What an unforgettable night! This was the live launch of Sounds of Us UK (November 2024) – my new album that captures the emotional pulse of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland through a Nigerian lens. 

It all came to life at the stunning Ladbroke Hall in London. I invited the audience to go on a sensory journey with me, through music, memory, rhythm and reflection. As I performed, they painted their emotional responses in real time.

It was powerful. Raw. Joyful and deeply human.

This album means a lot to me – it’s a love letter, a protest, a prayer and a celebration all at once. From bagpipes and African percussion to ambient textures, spoken word and voice, every sound tells a story of where we are, who we are and what connects us. Thank you to everyone who came, created and shared the space with me. We felt it. Together.
